Every kid wants an outdoor playhouse, and there is nothing better than watching your child create a whole fantasy world in their playhouse and run around in sheer delight in the garden.

Once you have built the playhouse out of wood, make sure you treat it with a wood preservative to protect it and delay rotting and flaking of the structure.

A gambrel storage shed is also sometimes referred to as a barn shed, which is typified by it’s roof design.

A saltbox storage shed is easily spotted by it’s asymmetrical roof. They add great character to your property, which has led to a lot of home owners getting hold of saltbox storage shed plans and building this style of shed.

The saltbox style of shed has a sloped roof with one long rear slope and one short slope. It’s a great choice if you have a small property, but would still like to build a shed that has plenty of room.

If you are looking for a quick, easy and affordable shed to build, then you can’t go past a pole shed.

They are easier to build than other sheds and this is because pole sheds don’t have a properly poured cement floor. The foundation of the shed is the ground itself, and the poles that form the structure of the shed are pushed deep into the ground and then set into concrete. The walls of the shed and the roof are then built around these poles and the framework.

Some things that might be a drawback of a pole shed is that the floor is the ground, and if it rains a lot, it can get pretty muddy. Also the moisture that gets into the shed from the ground can damage any items stored in the shed, so some people lay down tarps or another form of plastic flooring.
